Energy
Energy is a basic need for human life. The energy currently used is mostly from fossil energy. According to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Republic Indonesia, as much as 90 percent of Indonesia's energy needs are supplied by fossil energy. Due to the increase of the demand every year, the fossil energy is running out and cannot be replaced. On the other side, the effect of excessive use of fossil energy will eventually lead to a new impact, i.e., global warming or climate change. For these reasons, alternative energies are being utilized, particularly the renewable energy resource.
Concerning this Energy Sector, GROOT PERKASA continues to carry out project work based on fossil energy, because most of the demand still use fossil energy and GROOT PERKASA also puts forward new renewable energy projects for energy conservation (EBTKE) considering the huge energy potential that can be developed in territory of Indonesia, namely solar power, wind power, and hybrid technology based on sun and wind, as well as micro hydro energy and also waste-to-energy related plant.
